How does Ki work

Ki is different than any type of energy in the universe, but it has similar properties. It can move much faster than light or much slower.It has concussive effects and usually is "hot". It will bend under high gravity, and can destroy as much as the weilder wants. So what is ki?

Um... It's apparently an energy that everything possesses, but can be stretched to degree's much higher than any muscle you could train.

Who really knows what it is though? It's not life force, because using your life force in DBZ can kill you, like it did to Vegeta, or like tri-beam does.

I just think of it as the same thing as like chakra, but more similar really to spiritual energy(bleach).

Chakra and Chi=Ki
Ki and Chi=Chakra
Chakra and Ki=Chi

They are all the same being life forces
