1. Darth Nyriss was among the most powerful Sith in the galaxy. Loosing to her is not shameful or a sign of incompetency. Meetra Surik lost to her too.
2. Scourge's over-reliance over Consume Essence talent proved to be a problem in his confrontation against droids. He still managed to destroy all droids.
3. No, he didn't. Those Bounty Hunters weren't random by the way, they were hired by Nyriss to test Scourge's abilities.
