If? Tony has nearly become one with mass media. Anything seen on camera is known to him at this point. He would know, and he would use it. This is what typically goes on in these types of match ups. People first look at who is stronger, and more durable, and has more impressive powers in general, and then they make up their mind based on those factors. Intel, tech, experience, fighting ability rarely ever takes center stage above the less esoteric abilities. Tony would do fine, and possibly pull a majority IMO.

Regardless, I agree that Tony's access to mass media doesn't mean he'd be able to instantly know Mark's weakness, given that they hail from entirely different companies. Moreover, it certainly doesn't mean Tony would be able to approximate the specific frequency required to harm a Viltrumite on the fly, either.
I actually forgot it was a specific frequency that REALLY phucked Mark up. But I cant remember if hes show weakness to other frquencies or forms of sonics. Because of that Ill give Mark the slight majority.Mark has the strength advantage but is relatively one dimensional up against all the weapons gadgets and experience Tony has. It wouldn't be easy.

Anyway, not saying Tony couldn't duplicate those sonics with a bit of prep(he obviously could), but I have my doubts that he'd have that specific sonic frequency set on his armor all the time.
