The major nexus' on Dromund Kaas for post-movie content was the Dark Force Temple. While built before him, it really didn't become infamous until Darth Millennial.
Sure, but if there was a drastic change in either Nyriss' or Meetra's powers directly because of the nexus, the narrator would have mentioned it somewhere, to be honest.

We already know Dromund Kaas is a nexus though, so...
Really? When does Drew have a history of doing this? He does mention Kaas' effect on Surik, when she says even the Dark Side is easier to deal with than Natheema, indicating Kaas isn't a planet she copes well on.
Well how many Sith Assassins were actually there at the Academy? This is one feat I can never really get behind because...it's all speculation really as to what happened. Like how mant she fought at a time, if there were any circumstances, if there were other ways she went about fighting them etc and so on.
She is a symptom of Malachor V, that is why unlike all other Jedi that appeared there she did not instantly turn to the Dark Side, she was merely physically ill. Whereas Dromund Kaas is stated to be an extreme Dark Side nexus and no mention of her Wound is made, which correlates with the statement that Surik completed her retraining on Dantooine in the two months after she ended the Dark Wars. Furthermore take into account that she had only just arrived from Nathema attempting to destroy her mentally the entire time she was there, a near death experience.
Despite these issues she was depicted displaying combat speed on a level of half a second. After this displaying ability to speed blitz the Emperor's personal escort of Imperial Guards with apparent ease despite their proximity to Vitiate himself. Before then she completely outskilled an amped Master Atris, a master of all forms of lightsaber combat and particularly masterful in Juyo.
She was evidently more skilled than Traya was more powerful than her, despite a massive nexus amp, even more impressive when you consider that Traya herself is a master combatant. A last note to consider is that Meetra in turn became more powerful than Traya was, as per both Traya's and Sion's insight implies. She has easily outskilled the likes of Visas Marr, Darth Sion, Brianna, five master Echani combatants, all of Clan Ordo's best Mandalorians and more.
The Jedi Exile Meetra Surik like Revan and Malak was one of the three greatest warriors the JedI Order had and this is during an era depicted in sourcebooks as the height of Jedi skill and combat prowess, honed by great war experience.
Meetra Surik wins.

I know this makes a lot of sense and it definitely should be the reason, but I suspect KOTOR II writers just decided they didn't give a shit about a nexus's effects on Jedi and decided to make Surik invulnerable against Malachor V's dark side potency to avoid a potential complication in the game's plot.
Forgive me for stating legends facts rather than trolling characters or making no attempt to engage in actual constructive discussion. Next time I'll just rant about irrelevant characters instead of making an argument for one character or another.
If you would like you can actually try to state Talon feats that even put her on that tier instead of attempting to bait me.

Not to mention you yourself are partial to the odd bit of character trolling. I'd tuck that finger in if I were you before we end up committing one of those awful double standards we often hear about.
Next time I'll just rant about irrelevant characters instead of making an argument for one character or another. Not sure why you would do that. I figured comparing Surik to Talon - instead of writing an essay about why Surik was spawned from the nuts of God himself and opting not to even mention Talon in your analysis - would be a better idea.
If you would like you can actually try to state Talon feats that even put her on that tier instead of attempting to bait me.I would usually (I believe you still need to reply to our Ulic vs Nihl debate btw, Mr Productive 😉 ), but NewGuy already cleaned up on the first page. He accounted for both characters' feats and came to a reasonable conclusion, so with that said; Meetra dies 👆
People can really stop mentioning her KotOR II feats, because this is novel only. What people should be mentioning is her beating a pair of Imperial Guards on a dark side nexus in two seconds, or being Scourge's approximate equal (by his own admission) while he was amped and she was hindered.
As for Meetra being hindered, she felt palpable discomfort upon arriving on Dromund Kaas, and by statements from JATM alone we can assume she'd be weakened.
