It's also possible it's not as easy to force crush a jedi since they use the force and might have an inherent resistance.
Also using the Han Solo encounter with Vader doesn't show anything. He was no threat to Vader. He got off a few shots that did zero, then was easily disarmed. Vader was in no rush to take him out because he posed no threat.

It shows his reflexes. He still force pulled the gun but not after four blasts. Han is pretty shit as a skilled opponent especially compared to Caine.
