Also what about all the money we waste on the "war" on drugs? The war that we are decidedly losing and will never win.
I don't even want to think about all the money that must of spent busting pot dealers and searching for weed so they could destroy it, etc. All that money wasted on something that is no worse then perfectly legal products like booze or cigarettes. I have seen people say this issue isn't a big deal, even the President made an asinine comment about it. However, I just think when a government is hypocritical it is not a good sign. It doesn't matter where hypocrisy originates, all that matters is it is there. How can you trust a hypocritical government?

The top 10% pay an average of 30% of their income in local, state, and federal taxes compared to 25% percent paid by the middle class, despite taking home 45% of the nation's income. Totally fair, amirite?
