This is Yoda and windu as of ROTS.

Who is the true greatest of the old Jedi order.

Yoda every time.

Mace went down to a swamp in Dagobah where he got his ass kicked like a giant carbonated soda...S O D A soda...

Anyway, just got the 2013 book Star Wars: The Legendary Yoda and it states:
"The greatest Jedi: Yoda, defender of the galaxy, master of the Force, and the greatest Jedi who have ever lived."
"Yoda's ability to use the Force is greater than that of any other Jedi."
"...the most wise and mysterious Jedi Master of them all."
"During the Clone Wars, Yoda's reputation as a great Jedi warrior grows. At the Battle of Rugosa, he defeats a battalion of battle droids with only a few clones to help him!"
(Note: A battalion consist of 300 to 1,200 soldiers!)

And then in Star Wars The Sith Wars it states: "Yoda was the oldest and most powerful Jedi in the order."

Later in Star Wars: Blast Off! it states "Meet Yoda. He is the most powerful Jedi."

Also in Star Wars: Mysterious of the Jedi it states "Yoda is an immensely powerful Jedi..."

Hero of Tython defeated Vitiate and was considered the Avatar of the light, can collapse tunnels, and is still growing in power. He can beat Yoda.

Yoda is great however I question the notion that he is the greatest of all time. I believe that title stays with Luke.

Yoda is the greatest of all time until about 10 ABY, when Luke takes the title. This wasn't written with 10 ABY+ in mind.

^Indeed. Although devil's advocate would argue Luke has no accolades of being the greatest of all time.
