Plastic Man Vs Sandman

Honestly WTH are they going to do to each other fight.
No prep. No BFR.

They can't do any lasting damage to each other. It will go on forever.

I feel silly even asking, but does Nu Plas need to breathe?

I dont think he ever has.
Does Sandman?

Nope. Forever stalemate.

Sandman was beaten by Spider-Man one time by being locked in a steel room until he ran out of air and passed out.

But that was a long time ago (in the 60's I think)

EDIT:

Found it; Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1 (1964)

That is some of the dumbest shit I've ever read lol

Nah. We got like 5 members who say dumber shit everyday.

^^^speaking of which...

...no reason that scene cant be valid. These characters have undergone numerous evolutions (in continuity) over the years.
I mean, the Spidey in that scene is nowhere near the Modern day Spidey in terms of power levels.
Why should that Sandman not have been upgraded, considering all the times his powers have waxed and waned?

Well, we know Plas can at least last 3,000 years.....

Can Sandman?

I'll answer you in 2,937 years. 😛

Maybe, but he "gained" a weakness too (not that Plastic Man would be know that)

And just because of similarities: Hydroman

Stupidest weakness ever

Not stupid at all, actually makes a lot of sense. Much more sense than, say, Kryptonite, radiation that only harms one specific species. How about others, like the colour Yellow, wood, fire, iron, lead.....

There's a hell of a lot of "stupid" weaknesses out there, explaining Sandman's power (finally) isn't one of them.

Agreed.
The kryptonite was adressed by Byrne though, back in the 80s, when Lex's kryptonite ring caused him to lose his hand due to radiation poisoning.

Yeah there is a theme that silly crap tends to happen in Spiderman comics. He..he made Silver Surfer trip and fall off his board once via using his webbing. It made me sad to see it.

There is no "this makes more sense then this" in superhero comics. You are talking about an alien and a guy who essentially became a sentient pile of sand.

Haha. Webbing trumps cosmic.

I mean Thanos being arrested by cops still had more dignity.

Not once he got into holding it didnt. 😛

Does anyone have the old Handbook entries for Hydroman and Sandman? I could have sworn something like this was hinted at in the "Powers and Abilities" section.
