I haven't been watching American Idol. I've saved my time for Canadian Idol... 😄

Yeah there having a New Jersey Idol on the New Jersey Nets basketball stadium where I live and it the same concept except being rejected by 3 judges you can be booed by 30,000.

admittedly i wasn't thrilled by all of ruben's choices for songs. but i wasn't any more impressed by clay's selection either. unchained melody??? make me gag. what sappy shite.

I wouldn't know. I'm not a music person when it comes to the hip songs. As I've said numerous times, I'm a classical song person. Holst- The Planets and stuff like that. Also movie soundtracks that are classical, like Star Wars and Gladiator.

*LOL* i'm down with the classical music, trust me 😄. personally i prefer baroque music. the romantics were good too--and some of the contemporary composers...i find i like more music from those eras than from the classical era...though there are, i admit, some *gorgeous* classical themes that i've liked. (i just mean, on the whole, baroque is my favourite)

My SSR (Sit down, Shut up, Read) teacher, who teaches math and is hilarious, has an American Idol CD. Contestants singing popular songs. Not too good, not too bad.
