Jaina isn't stomping. They're pretty similar in terms of skill - Maul has shown superior resourcefulness mid-duel in terms of tactical skill, though Jaina uses a form which isn't among the conventional ones and Maul's ability to adapt to that isn't certain.
That being said, Jaina is easily more powerful, which gives her the edge.
