Chinese actress sued for "staring too intensely" through a TV set

I just can't stop laughing at how ridiculous this is.

Yeah I saw that about 10 minutes ago. It's like they said about the law that has allowed for frivolous charges to be put through.

I can't imagine how more ridiculous it could get. Actress counter sues man for staring at her from his sofa or something like that.

Maybe he was gay and her intense star gave him a confused boner?

I wonder what the fortune cookie for THIS situation would of said?

😂

Now she's staring at me through my monitor. Time to sue the *****.

She should sue the guys parents. Surely there must be some law against raising children this stupid.

^^^Ooh, thats good!

What a stupid case. If I was the judge, I'll throw out the case and fined the guy for wasting court time.

There are a lot of times i think the same thing. Its nothing new, either.
Earliest i remember thinking that was Liebeck Vs McDonalds.
Unfortunately, every time a judge gives a cornball case credence it sets a precedence.

So, frivolous nonsense isn't just an American thing. Who knew.

I wonder how many times the guy humped his TV set during the show.

I take it Kill Bill was banned from China that day.

Wait didn't the woman get scalding third degree burns on her body via the coffee? Is that really the same as "dude stared intently at me on tv"?

She did get third degree burns.

But it has become the defacto frivolous lawsuit in many people's minds. Oh hey this women sued and won because she the thought the coffee was too hot. Most people don't know that she got third degree burns from spilling the coffee on herself.

This would be an awesome peoples court episode

This is awesome. I can't stop laughing 😆 😆 😆 😂 😂

"spiritual damage" lmao!!

is that the chick from Shaolin Soccer?
