It weakens him. Dark Revan was actually right, Yavin IV was Vitiate's last place of power and they took time to prep it for him incase of that emergency. Kill him again there and he is likely dead for good.

It's just, this whole body thing is growing tiresome and it's like BW has sort of written into a corner.

Seems to me then the PCs are pretty useless/pointless. I literally wouldn't be surprised considering all this power that seem to come for him.
