Martial arts+ Chi attacks should give Davos the win. Not to mention the huge speed advantage.

Bane is a top martial artist plus is faster than Batman, so there is no huge speed advantage.

Bane beat the ever loving shit outta Batman first in the new 52, and Batman needed to use the environment to win. So their record is one and one besides the fact that Bruce mentioned this:

Environment was a factor, but Bane was on the extra dose of venom.

Jobbing to the main protagonist is a common thing in comic books, but losing to a loser like Croc is unforgivable. Poison Ivy's poison ( 😛 ) might have been a factor as Galan said, but still... who the f*ck wrote that.

Bane is still 4-1 against Croc, with one win off of venom and his only loss while poisoned. But yeah that was terrible writing.

Nah, Davos was a monster for the entire run, between chi draining people to death, and killing the new Thunderer and Yu Ti (By decapitation). The little girl simply got the SSJ upgrade, seeing her pet dragon killed in front of her.

Plus, lets be honest, the writer likes turning unassuming girls into baddasses.

Batman isn't even the fastest street. Keeping up with Iron Fist, who's close to Spidey's speed level, is more impressive then being a bit faster then Batman.

Have you read issue 12? Danny has an insane speed feat in it.

Davos is SO much faster than Bane. To even be in the ballpark of Iron fist makes Davos SO much faster.

We do know Nu Bane has metahuman speed/reflexes even without Venom. That's gotta count for something.
