Thanaton hasn't shown the skill feats to beat Savage in a purely physical contest - Savage takes sabers.
Savage lacks defenses against Force Lightning and mentally-afflicting Sorcery, so Thanaton takes Force. Unless Savage gets particularly enraged, I can't see him overpowering Thanaton in telekinesis either.
All-out could go either way, but seeing as Thanaton is an Inquisitor, it's probable that he'll make considerable use of Force powers (particularly Lightning) which should give him the win.
