That's pretty awesome, too bad you need a specially designed track for it to work.

I wonder if all new skateparks will start to construct their features with this technology in mind, and if some existing parks will start to upgrade their facilities.

Yea even if it's only on a small scale right now of that, it's cool. But the applications seen endless once more r&d is done.

I'm thinking high speed mag lift public transportation. In places people never thought.

Something like a mag-bicycle would be really useful for cities. You'd be able to shop for groceries, visit friends, and go to work without using any gas. Great for the environment and your wallet. Some engineers need to get on that.

I think we all know though...if they ever came out with true Back to the Future style hoverboards..it would be too good to be true, because you know children would immediately ruin it for everyone by getting themselves seriously injured on the things.
