i'd take shift. he has a lot of options in this. in one scene, he even transmuted himself in nanites.... he was a fantastic character. 👆

i assume that's who he is talking about. and i'd doubt pretty highly he could control shift in nanite form. he has complete control of his atomic structure--he even countered shimmer's transmutation powers. and nanites are of course only a single option. shift is too versatile imo for mm, and he's got some crazy durability feats including tanking a nuke without issue.

Well technically so would machine man. Well if you really want to get technical MM has abilities that literally could one-shot him. I am prepared to dump a respect thread up in here.

sure, go ahead. shift was actually better than rex when shift first appeared. which abilities do you think could one-shot him?

that might work if he came at mm in a humanoid form as opposed to some gaseous or liquid state--which he would be more than likely to do. not saying he'd be immune to it, just that i'd doubt the hypnotism could affect shift in the altered state he would immediately assume. ie--could he hypnotize a room full of invisible gas....?

I don't see why not. His hypnotism worked on a robot and other non-humanoid beings. You merely just have to look at it and it will work.
