Should the 2nd Iraq War have happened

Should the second Iraq War have happened?

What do you think?

No

Is that your final answer?

Maybe, depending on your level of idealism, because Saddam was a sadistic phuck who needed to go down. However the real question is, did we go there with proper intent or foresight of a post-Saddam Iraq, which the answer is indisputably no. Bush used 9/11 sentiment to lie to the country and used the anti-Islamic hatred to trick people into being cannon fodder in a war that had jack shit to do with 9/11 or another terrorist attack. While I do appreciate the Husseins going down, there should have been much more planning and foresight in place. So I think the war should have happened, but we should have done it differently and for different reasons.

Or in other words, *our* second Iraq war shouldn't have happened, but a hypothetical one that actually has plans on how to rebuild and stabilize Iraq long-term would be fine?

someone has to take care of the dog shit of the world

I think Merica is really good at that, but that's just me though

Murica is good in blowing things up. As far as government administration though, not so much.
