You have to understand that outside of conservative hetero white Americans, Reagan isn't exactly beloved. It's poor form to behave like this in the White House, I agree, but it isn't entirely surprising.
Also, weren't you furious about a Trans Activist getting bundled out of the White House for heckling Obama? Suddenly it's not okay to be a nuisance in the White House when Reagan is involved?

There tends to be one party in the US which mainly services people in power and strengthens privileged groups and one which at least talks about more inclusive stances. That's probably what OV was referring to.

Just seemed stupid and unnecessary. It almost seems like stuff 13 yr. olds would do, the whole "ha ha he hurt gay people so lets kiss in front of his picture, that will show him..somehow!". But the article is from 2012.

All I can say is there is a world of difference between heckling the president as he is trying to give a speech and flicking off a portrait of a guy who isn't even alive anymore.
