yeah, if you think that they will be a bother or just don't want them in the house you can often just get a container and a lid and just catch them, more often then not we throw them into the garden.

thou if we think that they will be a danger we often get a boot or insecticide to kill them.

Tbh the thought of waking up and finding a giant spider or a centipede over your bed is a bit freaky. And i've spent a part of my childhood in Syria where they have giant flyig cockroaches that you need to hit 3 to 5 times with a boot before they stop moving.

ah I know the ones, we have a smaller cousin in the more domestic areas. some of the bush ones can grow up to a foot long and burrow 3 metres down
