Vaapad didn't help Mace against Bulq/Ventress/or Maul there is no reason to believe it'd help him in a fight against Vos
Vos defeated Dooku, stomped Ventress in a duel, disarmed and cut Grievous's hands off/fought evenly with Ventress while suffering from poison/she was amped by Dathomir
He defeats Mace in a duel.

Actually it did.
Maul- Fight was interrupted by Maul's flunkies firing a rocket at them and Maul used the opportunity to flee. I have no doubt that had the fight continued Mace would have beaten him.
Ventress- Admitted that she was no match for Mace and ran away.
Bulq- The fight ended with Mace blasting him with a Force push and either knocking him out or at least stunning him briefly. Bulq only survived because Mace had something more important than finishing him off.

Except you know, the fact that Vaapad has consistently allowed Mace to have the upper hand against dark siders.
What a quote says he needed all his skills to defeat Ventress, and she wasn't even in her prime then. Vos ragdolled her and then drove her into a full retreat in their duel, also you didn't address my point. If Vaapad was effective he would've downed Maul easily and prevented Maul from stomping Aayla. Windu has nothing to suggest hed defeat Vos without his amp

That quote is, quite simply, utter honk and completely wrong.
In the actual comic Mace says (and I quote) "Do not assume, however, that we are equals. We are not."
He says this very casually while driving Asajj back. He then says he will kill her if she insists.
She replies "Oh I have no doubt, Which leaves me one option."
She then jumps onto a hover-droid and flies off.

Nonsense. Maul is skilled enough not to be downed easily no matter who he's fighting (unless it's the absolute greats like Yoda). That has nothing to do with any lack of effectiveness on Vaapad's part, Maul is just that good. Plus that "fight" was literally one panel long. Mace simply didn't have time to down him.
