SSJ1 Goku and SSJ1 Vegeta vs. Teen SSJ2 Gohan (enraged)

Basically Gohan from Cell Saga at max power.

Vs.

Goku and Vegeta from Buu Saga. SSJ1 only, can't go higher.

Gohan and easily. They only surpassed Gohan in their SSJ2 forms. Vegeta even needed to go Majin to do so. SSJ1 is nowhere near enough for them

Even if they actually cooperate? CIS off.

They get stomped imo.

This isn't a fight, this is a stomp in Gohan's favor.

A better fight would have been SSJ2 Gohan(Buu saga/depowered) vs. the duo.

Was Vegeta SSJ1 stronger than Gohan SSJ2 when he fought Dabura?

Vegeta kept bitching about how weak Gohan was, and how he would beat Dabura. But was Vegeta going to beat Dabura as a SSJ1 or turn SSJ2?

I ask because it doesn't feel right that Vegeta would reveal his SSJ2 form that easily.

It seemed like Goku and Vegeta were trying to keep their new form under wraps.

The first time CG Ssj2 Gohan is officially surpassed in the manga is when Piccolo states that Majin Vegeta "could be even stronger than Gohan was back then", when Vegeta is about to face Fat Boo.

CG Ssj2 Gohan gives them the "Perfect Cell treatment", except that this time Goku and Vegeta have no androids to throw up but just their own innards.

I guess I'm going by the anime only since I don't read the comics.

I don't think it was clear that Goku went SSJ2 in that same fight. Vegeta makes a comment, but it didn't necessarily mean Goku was SSJ2 (in the anime).

Which makes more sense to me actually. Because Goku was surprised when Vegeta turned SSJ2.

Now why would Goku be surprised if he had already openly showed his new SSJ2 form, which Vegeta had seen, and Vegeta STILL decided to challenge Goku - unless Vegeta himself had also reached SSJ2?

Also in the anime, Vegeta only makes the comment when Goku overloads Yakon. If Goku turned SSJ2 already, Vegeta would've made the comment as soon as Goku transformed.

To me the big reveal only came during their 1v1. Again, going by the anime.

So, no Majin powerup?

Less of a stomp.then SSJ2 Gohan vs the SSJ1 team, but Vegeta implied Goku by himself was probably stronger, and Vegeta seemed pretty disappointed in Gohan. Seemed confident even without an amp, he could do better then Gohan vs Darbura.

The Cell Jr. were on USSJ Trunks' and Vegeta's level after an aditional year of training in the Room of Time of Spirit; and Gohan took out seven of them.

But to be fair, Goku stated that a second day of training in the RoSaT would do more harm than good:

So Vegeta and Trunks' powers probably hadn't increased but much(if at all) when they were at the Cell Games.
