I thought he had done away with the limit.
not that it ever bothered me, I doubt very much anyine can accuse me of being above high herald with mu amalgam. I'm the first to admit that I dont think ofof Animal man as a low herald (which was why I voted for himhim being excluded) I think we can all agree now that I've posted enough of Arion's hiistory you cant consider him more than high meta on average (without amps or outside help)

It was stated that we shouldn't be taking the majority against high Herald types.
At this point, we have all claimed feats that would take out HHs, lol.
Except for MM's wooden armour. That's hilarious.
Only because I can't stop thinking of the Wooden Cybermen from Dr Who:
Originally the combined amalgam could not exceed Mid Herald. And there was a power nerf applied.
Both where removed. And the rules where modified, and updated in the front page.
Reason for the retractions was, many are being smart with their draft. And by proxy the 2 low heralds can be as strong or stronger than a High Herald. The cap, and nerf made no sense, so I removed it.

What's your definition of a "speedster"? someone who can travel really fast or someone who can perform hundreds of operations in a few seconds? I've never seen Lightray do anything speedstery (maybe I missed it)
To me, a speedster is someone whos primary ability relies on speed. How fast is not important. But his movements and actions benefit from superspeed.

I love how Orion gives a brief retelling of his family history to someone he casually saves, probably never to see again. Don't tell that guy any secrets.
But would you call Nova a speedster?
As you replied to Id, I really shouldn't butt in.
But I care not for your social customs!
Nova wouldn't be a speedster, as speed isn't his main power. Just like Superman isn't a speedster, or Glads etc. Yes, they have speed, but it is not their primary/sole feature/power.
Lightray, for example, doesn't have speed as his sole power. But he uses it a lot, to the point he acts like a Flash would.
I save the term "speedster" for those who can perform manual tasks at vastly higher than human speeds, not those who simply travel fast. Many characters can fly faster than quicksilver can run (Nova, Dr. Light, Beta Ray Bill, etc...) but they can't compare to his ability to perform tasks at high speed.
Originally posted by "Id"I usually attribute a true speedster as someone whose life is based on how swift they are and it shows up in their daily lives down to how fast they write and move their limbs to do menial tasks. It's essentially a character trope

Surfer is waaay faster than Quicksilver in many ways but he'd never be called a speedster cause speed is just an aspect of his overall power, not the basis of it and how to cope with life at constant high speed
