i think that decision should be reversed then. 👆

def not compatible feats. you'd need to say whether you're using a 52 or pre-52 character. there are a couple characters whose feats are supposedly interchangeable, but most are very different.... looking at you thinking of dc guys. lol

Exactly, ME.... I completely forgot there was a DC reboot when I was thinking of possible redrafts, it's been a while since I was up to speed with everything current.

Should I ask Id about the specific characters as to whether both sets of feats are allowed? doesn't seem to be a huge difference in the pre/post reboot with the people I'm thinking about.

Yeah, just ask. Zauriel, for example, pre52 was Low Herald. New 52 was erasing the Phantom Stranger.

Yeah, well beatboks was interchanging DCnU and DCU *harrumph*

Honestly I expected yoj to call me on Rot world feats for that reason (since everything else I put up was pre flashpoint). I had so e back up speed stacking feats to accommodate just not quite as good.

I let it slide because it was easier to attack the Rot feats - well, in my mind, anyway lol. Obv wasn't seen that way hehe.

The second this tournament finishes or keels over I want to host one with the same rules but at either trans level or sub Spider-man'ish level; 3 posts per competitor with a panel of 5 judges, but made up of the same 5 committed posters till the end.

Trans level is way too much - I'd just rather never deal with it personally (as judge or competitor). Sub spiderman level is what, below the meta level? I haven't seen a street tournament here before but I've never really been interested in someone debating Batman vs Daredevil in a tournament.

i think either would be fun. can't recall a trans level for a LONG time. spidey level would be cool--don't know if there has been one where amalgams could only be mid-meta or lower....

I'll be online later tonight to post the result, awnser pms, and questions.

Whatever you think works I'll host

always tough getting a tourney going after one just passed. people are usually tired, but i might be up for when, depending on how the school year is going and how busy it is.

Low/mid meta/ street really isnt my ball park. Not a lot of characters I'm into in tyat level.
Having said that recently did a scenario thread elswhere on that level where the concept was choose a body (beneath spidey level strength, hugo danner level durability, Logan level HF). Grants only ohysicals and senses of the body part.

Powerset also low meta down, skill set and a trainer.

For a character build in that arena was REALLY happy with what I ended up with (even if it was quite a ways from the most powerful). Was pretty bumbed when the scenario dies mid round three due to activity slowing

I'd be up for a lower level amalgam thread. I like playing with combos.

on a different topic--i know sometimes judges are tough to come by, but angry scot was VERY thorough with his ruling in celey's bz. not sure we need extras but i think he'd make for a great and impartial judge if needed--and if he could find the time.

Angry Scot declined my invite for him to judge.

To be fair at that point I was going through a rough patch with my mental health issues, I was suffering with my Schizophrenia and my Agoraphobia quite badly and I wasn't gonna be a help to anybody. I just felt like at the time you asked me it would be to much responsibility for me at that point in time.

And I was asked to do the Abhi vs Goober BZ and it just felt to stressful to have all of that stuff in my head at the time.

When I was asked at the time by Celey I wasn't as bad as I have been before. I'd be more open to judging a match in the future depending on how I feel and what the rules are and stuff.

Same drafts?

I was going to redraft before Tourneygate 2015.

Maybe we can send Bentley our redrafts and see what happens from there.

Don't let Abhi/Goober turn you off judging, OAS. Believe it or not, these things are usually fun.

Yeah, that thing was an anomaly.

Makes sense why you take to Sentry so much. Question: is the portrayal of the agoraphobia anything at all like the reality (I know these things are varied to the individual but in the clinical sense) of actually having it?
