Ok, a question of legality has come up in leo and my match over what exactly is covered by the prep rule:

Leo believes it limits us to ONLY basic, kinetic style, shields.
I believe it focuses on the time required to create those shields, in order to stamp out ridiculous planet busting prep....
....And also that "shields" can cover a number of different powers; physical barriers, energy barriers, psychic, mystical and (in the case of our match) shielding oneself from perception. (Basically any purely defensive move)
I don't want our match to go back and forth over this and I CERTAINLY don't want to waste my time with tactics the judges may just dismiss as illegal, so I guess we need a vote/consensus here, as we ALL contributed to this rule and it affects EVERY match in the tourney.

Yeah I know, but to be honest I might only get a single post anyway.
Having major PC problems, in posting that last post my browser froze "not responding " 9 times for an average of 4 minutes a piece.
I was sitting on my @$$ for almost an hour out of 2 waiting for the PC to let me do things.
It's the third time in three days I've tried to post and finally did so without finishing what I had in mind.
To be fair to Abhi he had to wait for me since he put up a battle in his wrote up and I didn't. It's not like he had anything to reply to until I posted my first.
