DC/Me vs You/Scoobs, not Leo.
Fair enough. I knew it was something along those lines. Though that particular matchup may not have been the most decorated at the time since it was prior to several subsequent tourney wins. Scoob and Leo were also partners once, so there may be other qualifying matches we're forgetting. But by mentioning this one, we get to leave Leo out, so this pleases me.

I don't really have the time to be debating, but for reference sake who's KMC's current top three tournament champions?
On the topic of decorated veterans, Leo. Digi. Scoobs. Smurph. Darthgoober. Delph.
The list of the only people I've ever really considered dangerous tournament opponents. What I think is funny is if someone really studied the "veterans" of KMC, by this point, we all have our (mostly) predictable debate styles and drafting styles.

Predictable? I never know what my arguments are going to be before I start writing up my posts? This is why I was surprised at people asking Id about legal strats a week before matches started.
You're still predictable in the general sense. In fact, I think you're the most predictable - you just happen to be good at what you do. You tend to go for simplistic combinations and then brute force your way through situations. You rarely pick the "clever" approach, instead focusing on clearly defined actions and counter measures. I think what you really excel at is attacking the complexity in other people plans. You pick the exact right questions to ask, casting doubt in the eyes of the judges as to whether anything they say will be able to pulled off. Which gives your very stable debating style an edge.
It's not a bad thing, obviously, you've won too many times for it to be a bad thing. Just like I know that Delph will 9 times out of 10 pick a tech power and try to problem solve his way through a debate. Or that Smurph, if allowed, will pick drafts that allow him to win battles of attrition. Everyone has a pattern.

No I'm no veteran and certainly not dsngerous (hell i dont care about winin i just like creating shit)but I'd like to think I'm not predictable at least in draft choices
I have no idea what my style is, but I'm sure there's some predictability to my drafts/debates.

Scoob, Leo, you, in that order. I think I'm 4th; I have 1 win like many others, but it's ranked to include other notable finishes, and I have a couple 2nd-place finishes. Some of it - let's be honest - is number of tourneys. Like, we've all entered a bunch. Some of those you mentioned that are dangerous but haven't won tourneys have only entered 1-2 tourneys ever. But volume doesn't equal quality, so I agree with everyone you named. I would add some others, but would have to give it some thought.

how'd i miss this?? you're the best bentley. 👆
unless you voted for scoob in which case you suck. sneer
and ds and i are having a little fill-in match for giggles in the bz forum. 3=post limit, ends monday. still looking for one more judge..... 😄
on the topic of all the tourney wankage--i enjoy going against almost anyone but digi and smurph are my 2 all-time faves to go against. going against scoob was a blast though. i think ds is gonna be real good if he keeps getting into these things, and id is pretty underrated but very tricksy...i always thought cdb was pretty solid. lots of good vets out there who could still probably do well, but this is a "what have you done for me lately business". sneer
