Kenobi when he got angry put maul on his back foot and took a saber out and then chopped him in half. Dooku has beaten kenobi in every battle they have been in. I've already addressed that as well. It was a tactical/situational problem.

I know Sidious made him his ***** and Dooku had him at his mercy once.

All you say is maul is faster without actually proving it. I've at least given a solid reason why Dooku is faster.

Mauls only edge is his age. That's it and that's not enough to take down the count as Dooku has successfully taken on and beaten opponents half his age and less. Dooku is definitly faster and maul actually maybe stronger. Again however as Dooku aphas dealt with openers of greater strenght then his own. So every advantage maul has Dooku has a way to compensate. Something's Dooku have that maul can't make up for are his I lack of skill compared to Dooku and dookus greater command of the force.

Dooku wins based off common sense. Dooku>>>>>>>>>>Kenobi>/=maul so with that he is definitly greater than maul by a long shot. Or you could look at it like this Dooku able to hold off yoda who is equal to Sidious who crushed Maul. So someone who can contend with someone who is equal to the person that got crushed. The person who can contend betas the guy who got crushed. He can at least contend with.

Dooku slaughters this zabrak who is way to overrated anyway. Dookus title as one of the greatest masters of the force and greatest lightsaber duelist in the Star Wars mythos is well earned. Maul is no where close to his level. He is so far down Dooku stomps on him like a little bug.

Considering he's an Ataru practioner not much defense in it that's why he adopted soresu. BS. Maul wasn't caught off guard. He was just stupid just like you Quan.

Considering 1st that christopher Lee is during this time in fact old while maul is not, the movies have to adapt so that's why the clone wars is here to give both characters better showings. Even without the clone wars Dooku is still better. Also what do the moves show that Dooku can't handle. Dooku was able to keep up with yoda. Maul took forever to take out qui gon jin.

also Dooku had a fantastic showing against a Master Kenobi and Jedi Knight (peak) Skywalker where he still KOed Kenobi, the only reason Anakin beat Dooku in that instance is because he tapped into his anger and the Count wasn't ready for it. Way better feat than Maul getting bisected by a padawan
