Something tells me the Beyonders are just toying with Doom. Like the 80's Secret Wars, Doom thought he absorbed the One From Beyond's powers and at the end, The Beyonder took his powers back wanting to see what will Doom be with all that power.

Well, there was one instance i recall where PC Superman actually KO'd Mxy, which is a bit more relevant than beating him in a sneezing contest i would think. Although that doesn't change things since PC Mxy himself was a weakling compared to his post-Crisis self. He was far from the omnipotent being we know him now to be.

I don't recall Doom stealing Beyonder's powers as being part of his plan. Beyonder wasn't toying with Doom; Dooom just outright bested him.
