Very interesting. I don't personally scorn this, though I'd never do it myself. I think as long as it doesn't interfere with actual human connection this is a reasonable outlet for sadness and depression, better than a lot of the alternatives.

Huh.
Between the next version having a voice, and the privacy issues (though nothing is stored long term, honest), i have to say i dont like it.
People fragile enough to use this are fragile enough to suffer ill effects from it. Dependency is not a good thing.
People clever enough to hack this somehow are likely to.
Maybe not for some grand scheme, but something as simple, and evil, as having the user get a reply, or eventually told by a soothing voice, to go kill themselves.

This story is just flat out depressing.
