"sour grapes" is only part of it. Great men throughout history have always been attacked and smeared when they've challenged the status quo. Ghandi, MLK, JFK; Mr. L. Ron Hubbard, it's no different.

Odd. We're ubiquitous. You probably have and maybe didn't know it? We're the people who do your laundry and cook your food and serve your dinner. We make your bed. We guard you while you're asleep. We drive the ambulances. We direct your call. We are cooks and taxi drivers and we know everything about you. We process your insurance claims and credit card charges. We control every part of your life.

Robtard just won this thread.

Nice reference. 👆

I think Robtard is lying..I think he *has* had the pleasure of meeting Tom Cruise.

Nope. Astner won it easily with one sentence. 😛

It must suck to be in another country and be a cheerleader for a country you so want to be in.

Really? I can't believe Rob is a scientologist.

I am a FORMER scientologist. I don't like the religion but then again I have family members on it so I just try to keep the peace and not share my opinion about scientology with them.

Personally I blieve is a bunch of hogwash (no offense rob if you are scientologist) and I have found better easier and free techniques and philosophies to better myself.

Also I am a liberal or more likely I have liberal tendencies.

IMO falling for a cult like scientology has nothing to do with how smart or well educated you are. Is just a cult and anyone can fall in one.

Also I don't think conservatives are stupid nor liberals the ones that I consider stupid and ilogicals are the extreme liberals or extreme conservatives being on the extreme of an ideoligy or religion will make you look stupid or irrational for 99% of us.

Also I left the cult by myself, no one told me to leave . I just noticed things that didn't make sense and I left. You can see from the beginning that they are in for the money. Somehow you try to justifie it because all the people you trust are on it but after that veil was removed I left and never went back.

Lol, this joke keeps going...

Not a joke at least on my part

I actually wrote about this on a thread of scientology here. And they are based on Florida.

I don't consider my family being in a cult a joke. If rob's is a joke fine but my case is not.

Pretty sure your the only one laughing, Rao isn't joking.

Really good post Rao

Oh my.

Lol.

You shouldn't joke about Scientology. Now you are going to end up on their bad side if they get wind if this and they will harass you.

I'm dead serious, that is what Scientologists do to some of their detractors.

I dislike scientology a lot. (Not scientologist as people, but the managment of scientology) For me they can believe in whatever they want is freedom of believing on what ever they want, what gets me are the abuses they do to it's members, that is what it can't be tolerated.

I talk here because they don't know who I am.

There is a lot of myths about this group, but what is true is that they are nasty if you speak publicly against them.

How did you get into it?

A family friend invited us in.

Two of my sisters got in, then my mom, then the rest little by little, I was the last one, but I also became the first one to leave it. Some of the other family members left after I left but We don't speak publicly against the "church" sometimes we have discussions with the other family members about the "church" but we have to be really careful how we go about it.

So they keep charging you to reveal all your secrets to get further into the church, then once you dump all your money in they reveal some hogwash about aliens and Theta's and other nonsense? It seems criminal, no disrespect.

Well it starts different. When you start it begins with basic courses.

They teach you small things as a part of the indoctrination.

One of the first things they teach you is "how to study" which basically tells you that if you don't understand a word of a text you should CLEAR that word (find the meaning of that word on the dictionary) so that way you can understand thw whole true context of the text.

Another thing they do is to put you on something called TR's which is basically several exercises to get you in a trance like state, now one the reasons you get in this cult is to gain some sort of spiritual enlightment and knowledge and with this exercises you enter in a trance like state that will actually give you the impression or hallucinations of an out of body experience or an enlightenment moment, now imagine that you are getting this sort of experiences on the lower levels almost the very first day you get in the group.

If you are getting this results on the lower levels imagine what you could accomplish on the upper levels?

There is also a constant love bombardment from the members of the church.

So little by little the coercion gets a hold until you get to a estate that you are willing to do anything for your "spiritual freedom" including giving a lot of money to them and a lot of people invest their life on it.

And yes is criminal what they do.

Is just a scam.
