Frieza's mother?

we've seen frieza's papa, king cold, but where is his mother, the queen? do you think she is a potential villain we might see in the future?

Pretty sure Frieza's species reproduces asexually.

whore!

Yeah, considering every Frieza shown(Chilled, King Cold, Cooler, Frieza) has been male, they might be similar to Namekians in that regard.

Freeza commented that he had parentS(plural) while he was fighting Goku:

This suggests that he had/has a mother... And she was evidently quite powerful, as Freeza implied that both of his parents were capable of knocking him around, like Goku was doing. /shrug

Anyway, it would be very cool to introduce her as a villain... And she would actually have a valid/meaningful motive: revenge against those filthy apes for killing her husband and son.

Ah cool. But at this point...it'd be kind of weird for her to be more powerful than Golden Frieza.

It'd make absolutely no sense if she either had the Golden form(and control) or something beyond it, and neither Cold nor Cooler did.

That could easily be a mistranslation. The English dubbed version has a lot of it.

It isn't. Even Herms agrees that the Japanese word used in that scene(oya) is referring to "parents"(plural), otherwise it wouldn't be grammatically correct.

And no, VIZ does not have "a lot" of translation mistakes. It perfectly aligns with the original Japanese manga 95% of the time.

If Frieza's mother was powerful and still around shouldn't she have ruled Frieza's empire in place of Sorbet?

^ You'd think so, but knowing Toriyama he probably forgot all about that line before he was even done writing the Freeza saga. Now(decades later), there's no way in Hell that he still gives a shit, lol.

Frieza mom reveal later as a god? To be fair, with so many god of destruction's, maybe one would be female.

Are there more than Beerus and Champa? And different races?

^ Well there's also Whis'(yet unnamed) female counterpart--the woman who attends Champa.

Yeah, it would be like Grendel's Mother from Beowulf.

I didn't count Girl Whis. As she's Champa's attendant. So the only confirmed we have are Beerus, Champa(GoD's), and Whis and...Sihw(GoD attendenats)

I was wondering if God's of Destruction are only Beerus race, and if there's more than just him and Champa.

There's twelve of them, and they're presumably all like Bills and Chomper.

When something is amiss in the DBverse, half of the time the problem is Toriyama forgetting something he established earlier.
