It happened already in a comic where they met.. Silver Surfer did some power thing and Superman had to excuse himself for a moment while he changed into new clean tights.

Not sure what comic it was, but you could clearly see on panel that Superman wanted not part of any Silver Surfer would bring to the table if it came to a fight. Supes was in aww of Silver Surfers Power.

But seems like you've missed the same writer having Henshaw laugh at Surfer's power and making him dance like a ballerina.

I'd want to see a bunch of draws in matchups like Superman v. Surfer, so that I wouldn't have to listen to either side whine about portrayals while the other gloated. Or rather, so that both sides would whine about portrayals and no one would be happy. Would be music to my ears.

Realistically, as comics go, a lot of similarly-powered characters could beat one another depending on the writers' whims. Acting like any of it would be definitive is the height of madness.

I would, however, enjoy seeing Spider-Man vs. like 10 DC characters. He wouldn't need to beat them for me to be happy. Just dance around for a while; long enough to get some good quips in.

Nope.. It's was Silver Surfer and Superman that I saw together with Superman shit himself. I have no idea who Henshaw is..
