Sidious killing Savage

Did he double stab Savage to destroy both of his Zabrak hearts?

I would think losing one heart could kill you if you're used to having 2 pump blood to your body.

It looked to me that Sidious stabbed him the abdomen rather than chest.

In most cases, having a secondary or redundant organ means if one screws up, the second one can keep things running at a reduced capacity for a while. Lungs, kidneys, etc...

So taking out one heart wouldn't kill him, but it would make things a whole lot harder.
