Um, no. Marek wins due to superior raw power. He does not have a better master of the Force than Katarn.

His raw power is superior as well. But I doubt that Katarn is at least his equal in terms of mastery.

Just about every Jedi of actual note has shown superior mastery to "Wreck all the things." Marek is all about raw power. That's it. Even Starkiller is mostly about raw power.

Yeah, not too sure Marek wins the first one.

He comfortably takes the second, though.
