2010 Rio de Janeiro Security Crisis
I know this incident is now 5 ******* years old and many people US may not know about the invasion on Morro do Alemão(brazilian for German Hill). The war between gangs and cops on this slum resulted even to the brazilian army and navy invade the slum with APCs(Armored Personel Carrier) and Wheeled Tank Destroyers armed with weapons designed to destroy TANKS!!! Along with 500 brazilian navy soldiers and 800 paratroopers.
