I didn't get Evil Empire until much later. I had a discman, though not in in 96.

I didn't own JNCOs, or Airwalks (I had the Walmart knock-off's). Didn't get into RATM really. Everything else is spot on. My hair could never really do that though, but I tried.

i was mostly hoodie, varsity jacket and timberland boots at that time. I did rock them chain wallets though, ha!

I was already in the Army, married, with a kid in '96. The wallet was damn cool though, and annoyed my bosses, since there was no specific rule against having one in uniform.

I was none of those. I dressed nicely for elementary school. I played video games, computer games, and played sports.

But, I did notice that some of the other children were all of those things.

My mom wouldn't let me dress myself when I was a little kid. She was all caught up with this concept that your clothes had to MATCH or some such nonsense.
