SSJ3 Goku managed to survive a short round vs Buutenks in the anime, but it was all about not dying.

The fact that Goku --a guy who loves fighting powerful opponents more than anything else in life-- didn't even want to try and fight Super Boo speaks for itself.

I honestly feel Demon Janemba is substantially beyond SSJ3 Goku

He smacked Goku out of SSJ3 with indirect hits from his sword beams and Janemba only truly powered up in the end when Gogeta showed up
