Vision barely damaged Ultron with the Mind Gem even with help from Tony and Thor, Surfer would've shredded his molecules. Surfer easily.

Yet Reed was able to put a stop to Silver Surfer with a little prep so which was the weaker showing lack of power shown by Vision having trouble or Silver Surfer getting beaten by Reed Richards movie versions.

This is not a good argument. Reed and Doom together spent days building a device that specifically targeted the Surfer's weakness, after they had multiple encounters with him that ended badly for them, and had extensive time to study him. And your phrasing makes it sound like Reed beat him in combat one-on-one, which is not even remotely the case. His actual applicable feats > Vision's. Fact. So based on feats, he wins.

Am I the only one that thinks Surfer beats Vision down regardless of the gem?

It isn't even clearly known if vision can even use the gem properly. Or tap into its power. The thing vision did to cut off Ultron from the net had nothing to do with the gems power imo.

That was Jarvis pretty much. And thats pretty much the same readon i say vision loses. He was basicallly a newborn in the movie.

So in your mind this makes Surfer look weak instead of making movie Reed look smart?

You realize you say Vision just had a lack of power and yet you feel that multiple super geniuses working together after having had ample time to study Surfer and figuring out his specific weakness to neutralize him is worse then a supposed mere lack of power?

This is like saying movie Magneto is weak because William Stryker built a prison made out of plastic and Magneto required outside help to escape.
