Falling down and admitting that you lost isn't necessarily losing outright.

Yoda kinda just gave up.

He could still walk and seemed to have no serious injury, he could've hopped back up and decided to continue the fight with Sidious, but he didn't, he left.

Nah, Ventress confirms in DD that the Dark Side was much stronger in Sidious than in Dooku or Vos.
