He isn't morally obligated to defend Obama. He is morally obligated to challenge anyone who wants to "get rid" of an entire group of people simply because of their religion. Given that freedom of religion is part of the first ammendment and that most of those practicing that religion are American citizens.

So for the first time trump remains calm and composed and he gets blasted. Unlike every other time he speaks out and gets blasted. Shrug
