Does he have his hell upgrade? Where his attacks steal your soul and whatever part of you that gets hit is sent directly to Hell? It's not as powerful as his brothers, but a hit would still pretty much end the fight for Erza.
Unless one of her armors can negate it. But it's possible she just beats him down first.
I understand her re-quip powers, but the move sends you either fully or partially into the netherworld. And Inuyasha needed to use the technique while caught in it already to eacape. I don't think Erza could get back much less survive the initial attack.
But this is considering it hits or Inuyasha lasts long enough to whip it out as imo Erza vastly out classes him physically. And she's pretty versatile with her armors.

No it doesn't. It sends you to the netherworld. Inuyasha used it to get inside the jewel, but it sends enemies to the netherworld normally.
You don't need to take my word. It's stated by Totosai, the guy who made both Tensaiga and Tessaiga.
He explains that the reason Tensaiga can see and cut down demons taking the dead to the underworld is because it has a connection to it. With Meido Zangetsuha, he cuts a hole into the underworld that sends whatever the energy hits into it.
And Inuyasha's version sends a number of energy blades that do that.

Her armor she used against Minerva cut through Minerva's space bending. That may do the job.
Or just speed armor and avoid it. I am fairly sure she's got a nice speed edge.

I remember the fight. That's the armor I was wondering about however Meido seems to work a bit differently. It doesn't seem like something you can really block. Just the entire area effected by the cut go straight to hfil. Even Naraku was helpless.
But yeah I thin FT edges out Inuyasha in most areas.
