John Wick 2

Just got back from this..

It's great. The stunt work and choreography is mindblowing. The locations (both large scale and the more intimate and claustrophobic sets) used for visual flare are mesmerizing. They really become characters themselves in the film. The story is obviously a little more clunky compared to the first film, but I was kind of expecting that. It's still got some nice touches to the story. As far as where they could possible go for the next chapter...

Spoiler:
Antarctica? Mars? Where the f#ck is he going to hide now that literally everyone is after him?? haha..

...so the story did take a bit of an unbelievable turn, so for that it loses some points, but overall it's a really good follow-up.

John Wick - 9-10/10
John Wick Ch.2 - 8/10

I'm seeing this spectacular action movie after church today.

hoping there will be a 3rd one

Even better than the first one.

Watched it. Enjoyed it. Was stupid at parts like the first one.

First one was better.

Just like the first, I really enjoyed him running through and double-tapping: chest then head shot.

was the migos song "john wick" in the movie

Well, I'm no expert, but from opening weekend, the film made $30 million domestically and $10 million foreign. That right there matches the production budget already, which was about $40 million. So I'm thinking with word-of-mouth it could potentially do quite well.

I think it already stands pretty well for a sequel.

Definitely a better film than the first one mainly due to better action scenes, much more background information for Wick, and some great interactions between Wick , Cassian, Ares, and Fishburne'scharacter. Amazing action sequences, great characters, and just a fun action film

Can't wait for the 3rd.

I hope so. I really want to see how it concludes. Great choreography.

1 amazing action movie from start to the end.
A high amount of raw violence.

No doubt this will be on my list of the best movies of 2017

I'm hoping as a result of this movie being successful domestically if that happens hollywood attempts mostly to make original action movies with new characters also most raw violence rated r action movies not the sanatized butter toast pg13 stuff that has become the 1 that mostly gets used.

This movie finally has a release date for Australia

Yeah, I'm hoping we'll see fewer lame PG-13 action movies. 👆

I'm getting quite bored with many of these PG-13 comic book movies.

April 20th, Don't know why the long wait

better late then never.

Watched the Honest Reactions with the John Wick Directors Reacting to The trailer of the first movie

they hired a few people from other movies that they worked on.

Enjoyed this. Moved away from the gritty relative realism of organised crime into a more Hitman games style glamorous portrayal and few weirdly entertaining stereotypes and nods to things like Fagin from Oliver Twist with Laurence Fishburne's character and Enter the Dragon with the hall of mirrors scene.

Some of the tactical action, which while I appreciate is supposed to be very realistic, feels a bit repetitive.

Ian Mcshane is the standout supporting cast member again. I like the mythos of the continental hotels and their role in the organised crime world and I like that they've made that aspect seem like some all powerful illuminati. Perhaps a bit ridiculous at the end when it seems that half the people in New York are all in on it but hey....so what....a solid fun movie

Yeah, that was taking things a bit too far for me too.

Honestly, I think I'd rather see a prequel than another sequel. Let's see the "impossible task" that Wick was given and apparently accomplished.
