Obama is afraid to use the military. The rest of the world sees his weakness and is pouncing on it and embarrassing him, shaking his hand and slapping him in the face.
You live in a simplistic world where military strength and action is the only valid international relationship, and are therefore blind to the Obama administrations strength in diplomacy. You would prefer a guns-blazing approach to it, that frankly created the whole mess we currently have in the Middle East under Bush.

Syria is a tricky situation and the US, like Russia as well now, has decided to use airstrikes to try to work it out. Admittedly the idea to help strengthen the rebels seems to have been a failure, so now there's a real issue of who to back and what to do that is in the best interest of the United States.
In the Middle East generally though he was able to bring different actors together to broker a deal with Iran that would be beneficial for all parties involved, ultimately perhaps laying the ground work to bring Iran back into the International Community in a more friendly way (it's sort of the Vietnam thing, military intervention completely failed, the US economy and culture on the other hand has made it a safe, prime destination for tourists now...)

Actually, I"d say Obama hasn't failed. He's done a damn fine job of weakening America and our allies. Which is exactly what he really wanted to do while claiming he's a "Christian" but clearly favoring the murdering Islamic religion over Christianity. LMAO.
