Ehh, but it was a feat of raw power, the omniscient narrator specifically drew a direct comparison to Luke and Kyp in. Wiith Durron being the arrogant Jedi he is saying hinself > Luke in terms of raw, unfiltered power, and he won't be taxed as much because of it.

I dont remember which book Luke did his dovin basal feat in to get the quote, but iirc he manipulated two at once, pulling them apart then letting go so they would over compensate and crash together or something like that.
