yeah with force he can simply force crush all of them or zap them with lightening

Agreed. With force he can take out big groups, but here... he has to get tired and slow down. I peg him at taking maybe 40 or so. They're just going to crowd him until eventually, finally, he gets down to a level where he can be hit.
