If Superman were real would he stop ISIS and Russia

Imagine if Superman were real, he is a bit of a liberal sometimes but he fights for Truth, Justice and the American way. If he were real would he involve himself in the problems in the Middle East or would he allow the humans to self-determinate? I can't work it out, he is a right-thinking, God-fearing farm boy on the one hand and a liberal on the other. I like to think he would intervene. Can you imagine heat vision aimed at Daesh and Russian planes?

He'd convert to Islam the one true religion giving down to god and spread my the one true prophet Mohammad(pbuh).
