It makes you feel like your penis isn't so tiny when you kill something with one of the biggest penises in the world.The problem with elephant hunting, especially if it isn't sustainable, is that killing them can be a slippery slope when there's lots of illegal poaching going on on the side. Also, elephants do benefit their countries more alive than dead. I'm going to bet you that they make more money off non-hunting safaris than they do off hunting safaris.
But then if what you say is true why wouldn't they go the route of making as much money as possible?
One has to imagine since illegal poaching is a thing..this would be taken into consideration when choosing which animals to hunt.
But again if the elephant helps more by being alive then I once again return to the "blame those in the country setting this shit up" line of thought. Who is going to know more about how the hunt effects the country, the people who live there and set up the hunt or some dude from another country?
Remember the elephant was like 60 years old, I doubt they could of made 60 grand off of it by keeping it alive before it died of natural causes.
