Can't believe the two guys I'm rooting for are going against each other

So....what's happening? Thought the deadline was yesterday?

I know I haven't turned mine in. Holidays started earlier than I expected with family coming + I'm using my brother's laptop (my cooling fan crapped out on me) so my time online is limited. I'll try and pump mine out tonight, but it may be harder than I thought it was going to be.

Story time: I thought I'd be able to get my writeup in tonight. Probably won't happen. The family that came early ended up leaving abruptly to go back to Puerto Rico because my cousin got shot 8 times and somehow survived - which sucks double for my aunt since her oldest got killed the same way, at the same age, a few years back.

Which, you know, means way more than a KMC tournament. I didn't go so I could technically have done the writeup, except my cousins father, who lives with my grandmother since she can't live alone anymore (dementia), left as well. So my brother and I are trading shifts taking care of her, but he's taken his laptop, which has all my scans and stuff.

I know my battle strategy, but I probably won't get the OP in until this weekend (after Christmas) when it's my shift and I'll get the laptop back. After that, things should settle back into a semi-normal pattern until my uncle comes back (either this monday or next monday).

TLDR: I'll have my OP in this weekend, probably sunday. Sorry for the delay, but life, holidays, and guns don't make for easy times. And I should be around consistently enough after this weekend as well.

Sorry to hear about that buddy. Family comes first. This tournament isn't that important. I can wait. Handle everything at home and once settled, we can start up then. I'm ok with waiting, no matter the time. Again, sorry to hear about that.

He was in an induced coma for a while, but woke up. However, one of the bullets hit his colon and caused some infection post surgery so he's still really fragile.
