Not all structures are created equal.

Revan's Force wave sent Darth Marr, Satele Shan, Lana Beniko and others crashing into the structures nearby but they did not crumble.

Vaylin floored Arcann and Senya together with that attack and it wasn't even focused on them. Given Arcann has one of the best barrier feats in the mythos (before he got stronger) and Senya's an immensely powerful telekinetic herself, thats insanely impressive.

And lets not forget that "stone" can withstand turbolasers in TOR.

He wasn't trying to shatter them. If they hadn't been there, the strike team would've flown all over the place.

He's already proven in the novel that he's more than capable of tearing apart durasteel doors. And that he can blow apart larger structures (from a greater distance) in the Temple.
