I've liked what I have seen of it so far. I like the gritty and edgy atmosphere as well as the more realistic mecha designs.

Same here. Barbatos' design is growing on me. I liked what I thought were a couple of nods to the UC timelines in the show. Plus the music is great.

I didn't watch the two gunpla shows. Seemed like they were more fan-servicey than serious.

McGillis Fareed reminds me of Schneizel for some reason.
