I enjoyed TNG at the time, hated Voyager, enjoyed 50% of DS9 and about the same of Enterprise. Discovery I found unwatchable and hated the new films tbh.

TOS is the greatest TV show of all time.

TOS IS the greatest show.

Latter half of DS9 beats anything from any other sci fi show, imo. Levar Burton really showed his writing chops there.

Meh rewatching TOS recently. And as much as I appreciate what it set up, and the classic characters it gave us, Honestly I think its badly outdated now.

wasn't it supposed to be different "races" of Klingons that confederated and just blended into one race with defining features over time?

Possibly, we'll have to see what is supposedly going to be explained/shown in season 2 of Discovery.

Season 4 of Star Trek Enterprise via retcon explained why the Klingon's in ToS looked like darker skinned humans with goatees, instead of the crabheads we're most used too. Virus/Genetic mutation. Episodes: Borderland, Cold Station 12, The Augments and Affliction and Divergence.

Before that, Worf touched on it in DS9, but dodged:

Nah... It's perfect.

^ Nah. Next Gen and DS9 are the superior television IMHO.

But the only movies worth watching are ones with the original crew.

Honestly there was no need for Enterprise to address that. When DS9 touched on it, they obviously couldnt avoid it given how the episode took place, but it was also handled as just a very comedic moment. Worfs line - we do not discuss it with outsiders - was all the explanation required Imo.

It would be like Star Wars going back and explaining why Vader vs Ben was so slow in ANH. Just no need for it Imho.

Sure, no need to do it.

But I did enjoy how they did it, working in Star Trek's most iconic villain, Khan, in a roundabout way and bringing in Brent Spiner with the TNG/Data tie-in. Also some of the better five episodes of the series.

^ Oh that was an entertaining story arc for sure.

Also had a call back to those sexy green dancing girls lol

The Orion women *droolio*

Looks like Netflix isn't paying for this one.

Look up the Youtube videos, apparently they spent enough to fund season 1 for free, but said they want a deep discount for 2.

This is now the lowest rated Trek of all time. Yes, even worse then Enterprise.

Because its on All Access. Not got availability any of the previous shows did.

That said with a second season and all the spin offs announced it must be doing something right.

Does look good. Bring it.

One of the most I’m demand original digital series:

https://comicbook.com/startrek/amp/2018/12/01/star-trek-discovery-global-tv-demand-award/

I knew the whole - lowest rated Trek ever - was a bit of a spin of the facts.

*In Demand

I'm highly biased as I'm a huge fan of the franchise, but it was a good first season, despite Ep 1 and 2 being disasters and the Klingons looking ridiculous.

Looking forward to season 2 with Spock.

Hopefully he can put Burham in her place.

Looks like they might make Prime Spock hardcore. Would be cool to see him with Burhams combat prowess added to his Vulcan strength.

Yep it has not aged well. Especially with the extreme lack of consistency and bit too campy

January can't come quick enough.. Season two looks good
